Take the chairlift to the top of the mountain. The launch site on a grassy ski trail faces E, NE. It's large enough for a few gliders but it's steep and uneven, only for pilots having no problems with stabilizing the canopy over their heads.
The slopes are good for both thermal flights and dynamic soaring. The ideal wind direction for soaring is NE. For thermal flying you need to launch quite early as the best thermals are triggered along the east slope of Szrenica.
The vertical drop of the slope is 700 m. The only safe landing place is 4 km away (make sure you have enough altitude to reach it!) It's in 'Dolina Krasnoludków' (Dwarfs' Valley) and it's barely seen from the take-off. The meadow is quite large, L-shaped, to your left when you're ready to launch. To land on it at on a thermal day at midday requires concentration, precision and skills.
Szrenica can provide a nice mixture of dynamic slope soaring reinforced with pretty strong thermals.
